This small group program guides participants in telling the truth about the history of racism in the United States, that we might work toward true reconciliation with God and restoration with one another. The Welcome Table serves lunch to neighbors in need in White Center every Saturday at noon at The Body of Christ Church (1320 SW 102nd St). In addition, food and supplies are handed out. Support the meal by donating non-perishable food (cereal, shelf-stable milk, proteins, crackers, canned food, granola bars, fruits, etc.), toilet paper and blankets. They are also in need of men's clothing, shoes, and coats. Drop off donations between 11-11:30am in the back parking lot before guests arrive. Volunteers will unload it for you!

Aid for Immigrants in Detention Northwest (AIDNW) is looking for friendly people to greet immigrants at the Welcome Center. When immigrants are released from the Detention Center, volunteers assist them in contacting their families and arranging onward travel. Help out twice a month between 3-7pm in Tacoma. On-call drivers are also needed to give rides from the Welcome Center to local hotels, bus/train stations, and/or the airport once a week between 4-7pm. To learn more and apply, click above.
