With another election cycle in full swing, we are invited to consider what it means to love our neighbors in the midst of a divisive climate. We are called to bring the best of ourselves and our faith to the public square. The U.S. Catholic Bishops invite Catholics to pledge to civility, clarity, and compassion in the public square and to call on others to do the same. Click above to take the pledge and to learn more.

All are invited to join Hate-Free Delridge on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays at the intersection of 16th and Holden from 4-6pm to support the Black Lives Matter movement. Signs are available to borrow or bring your own.
It is hard to believe we are almost six months into our Safe Parking “Road to Housing” program! Our last two guests have recently moved on, one to another town and the other into their very own “Tiny Home”. Thank you for your support of this program. Having a safe place to be each night (as well as access to a toilet, microwave, fridge, food, and heat) provides some relief for our parkers and gives them a little more bandwidth to focus on their next steps. We are happy to play a small role in their journey to safe, stable housing. Thank you for making it possible!
The Welcome Table serves lunch to neighbors in need in the White Center area every Saturday at noon. In addition, snacks, toiletries, and clothing are handed out. Support the meal by dropping off donations between 11-11:30am in the back parking lot before guests arrive. Volunteers will unload it for you! Click above for a list of needed items.
As unhealthy smoke clouds our skies, we are aware that many are suffering the direct impact of the fires through loss of homes, businesses, and lives. In other parts of our country, people are rebuilding after devastating hurricanes have knocked out power, communications, water provision and more. We encourage those who are able to contribute to a special emergency disaster fund to provide relief and support to those suffering these natural disasters. Click above for more information.
The Intercommunity Peace and Justice Center’s recent journal, A Matter of Spirit (AMOS), focuses on the 2020 Elections. AMOS is a quarterly justice journal with analysis, theological reflection, and action on justice issues. Take a look at the recent edition to help you reflect before the November election.
