Thank you to all who were able to take a tag off our Giving Tree this year. We received $1900 worth of Target cards for Santa Teresita families, 18 gifts for students at Sanislo Elementary, 13 gifts for two local asylum-seeking families supported by our Immigrant Ministry, and $375 worth of grocery cards for families in need at St. Edwards in the Rainier Valley. Thank you for your generosity and for making the holidays a little brighter for those in need in our community.

Do you know someone who is struggling this Christmas and in need of gifts for their children?  Stop by the Duwamish Longhouse (4705 W. Marginal Way SW) for the Children’s Toy Giveaway Sunday, December 22 from 12-3pm.  This is a free event for any family in need and is supported by Toys for Tots.  Supplies are limited. 

OLG is part of the Westside Interfaith Network (WIN), a group of 20+ congregations in West Seattle and White Center who do service together.  WIN invites all to help organize and assemble holiday gift bags for our homeless neighbors. There is also an opportunity to help serve a holiday meal. Click above for dates, times, and locations.
