WHO IS MY NEIGHBOR?
The Face of Poverty in Washington State

We know not all are able to join an RSVP group so we've created an at-home study!  During the season of Lent, you are invited to participate in a six-week, parish-wide series with a particular focus on the Washington State Catholic Bishops'
recent pastoral letter on poverty in our state.
 

During this first week of Lent, we invite you to read the Bishops' Pastoral on Poverty entitled "Who Is My Neighbor: The Face of Poverty in Washington State". Click here for English and here for Spanish.   

We also invite you to watch this powerful video (17 minutes) released with the letter, featuring stories of people living in poverty and faith around our state. 

Finally, each week will feature a challenge.  This week, we invite you to consider making time this month for an encounter with those living on the margins.  Consider signing up for OLG's Day of Service on March 25 or for Catholic Advocacy Day on March 16.
