RELIEF FUNDS FOR THOSE WITHOUT DOCUMENTS

Both the City of Seattle and Washington State have recently created relief funds for those without documents who did not qualify for the previous stimulus aid and who cannot collect unemployment. For those who live, work, or study in Seattle, applications are available through November 5 at http://www.seattle.gov/iandraffairs/programs-and-services/. Applicants can also apply through WA State for separate funds at https://www.immigrantreliefwa.org/

To help reduce technology and language barriers with the application , the WA Immigrant Solidarity Network (WAISN) is recruiting volunteers for their hotline. If you are interested in helping people over the phone to fill out their applications, visit https://www.immigrantreliefwa.org/ Spanish-speakers are especially needed!
