IT'S WORKING...HELP SUPPORT THE SANCTITY OF LIFE: Abolish the Death Penalty in Washington State

This could be the year Washington abolishes the death penalty!   In historic votes, the Senate passed the bill to abolish the death penalty!  Today it passed through the House Judiciary Committee and it must be put up for a vote by 5pm on Friday, March 2.  You can help by emailing your Representatives now.  Go to www.abolishdeathpenalty.org and click on “News” or “Take Action” for a pre-written, editable message you can send to your Representatives.  

This was also one of the key talking points at Catholic Advocacy Day on February 21st.  It is one of the legislative priorities of the Washington State Catholic Conference.
