Friends of the Orphans Student Shares Seattle Times Op-Ed Piece

Over the years, OLG has proudly supported the important work of Friends of the Orphans (Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos). This year, four Guadalupe families hosted students as part of the NPH International Leadership Institute. One of those students, Cesario Lobos Fajardo, recently submitted an op-ed piece to the Seattle Times related to the news of thousands of unaccompanied children from Central America crossing the border into the U.S. In this moving piece, he shares some of his experience growing up in Guatemala and some of his wisdom. .
