A CRS RICE BOWL THANK YOU

Thank you to all who were able to support Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowl Lenten program through almsgiving.  Our community collected $4057.45!  We would especially like to thank the Knights of Columbus who collaborated with our Rice Bowl team on the Fish Fry Fridays and who generously donated $750 from their proceeds.  All collected funds will be used to help alleviate hunger overseas (75% of funds) and right here in our community (25%).  The OLG community has benefited from local, annual Rice Bowl grants to our Community Meal program and Peace Garden.  What we give truly changes life. CRS Rice Bowl is more than fundraising though and we’d like to thank all those who spent time with the materials praying, learning, taking action, teaching and fasting.
