Even though we’re in the middle of summer, Treehouse is already hard at work collecting back-to-school supplies to stock their “Wearhouse” for foster children. The Wearhouse is a free store where foster youth can shop for clothes, shoes, school supplies, backpacks, and other essentials that help them feel good and fit in at school. When kids feel confident they are freed up to focus on their studies and thrive in school. Starting August 8th, you can help by taking a tag off of the clothesline in the narthex, purchasing the indicated clothing or supplies, and leaving them in the green Treehouse barrel in the narthex. We will collect donations through August 30th. For more information, to help drop off donations and get a tour of the Wearhouse, or to volunteer at Treehouse, contact Jennifer Ibach at 206-935-0358 x.120 or jibach@olgseattle.org.
