Over the past 3 weeks, we have been doing the “Pentecost Challenge”, asking parishioners to explore how the Spirit is prompting them in the area of Outreach. Your heartfelt answers have been turned into a beautiful display in the narthex, generously made by Tami Kurahara. Although we will continue to strive toward outreach as a community, the official Pentecost Challenge will be ending on June 16th. As we wrap up, we encourage you to write down what you experienced during this challenge (i.e. What did you do? What was life-giving about the experience?). Please visit the station at the back of church to write down your thoughts on one of the pieces of origami paper. Thank you for taking on this challenge with us. We hope it was a life-giving experience for you!
A BIG THANKS TO KATHLEEN SULLIVAN AND TAMI KURAHARA, WHO HAVE HELPED CREATE THIS CHALLENGE, FOLD ORIGAMI BIRDS AND DESIGN THE BEAUTIFUL DISPLAY IN THE CHURCH!!!
