Marion Nestle is the author of “Food Politics: How the Food Industry Influences Nutrition and Health” and professor of public policy and nutrition at NYU. An expert on the Farm Bill, 85% of which goes to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (what people used to know as Food Stamps), and on food deserts and nutrition, Marion Nestle understands the complexities of food policy, food politics, and how our most vulnerable populations are being fed (or not). The event will be held at Queen Anne United Methodist Church. For more information, visit their website.
