Saturday, November 20, 2021, 9:30 AM - 12:00 PMDuring the holiday season, the Seattle Seafarers Center gives away 1,000 “ditty bags” to merchant seafarers. These small bags, filled with toiletries and a knit hat, are one way they welcome and care for seafarers during the holiday season when many are far from their homes and families. You can help spread the love by assembling ditty bags on Saturday, November 20 from 9:30am-noon at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church (3050 California Ave SW). You can also donate supplies, knit a hat, sew a ditty bag, or make a monetary donation. Learn more and register at https://www.mts-seattle.org/dittybags
