On the second anniversary of Laudato Si', Pope Francis' groundbreaking encyclical on the environment, how can we as Catholic parishes and organizations inspire our communities to make a lasting commitment to care for our common home?
Join other Catholic leaders from around Western Washington to assess how Laudato Si' has been received since its release. The gathering will include best practices for implementing creation care on a parish level, resource sharing and ideas for future collaboration.
In Laudato Si', Pope Francis calls us to "a new and universal solidarity." We hope to emerge from this gathering inspired, renewed and with tangible ways that we can live out our call to care for God's creation.
