OLG CYO sports provide opportunities for young people to develop strong moral character, self-esteem, and leadership qualities through activities of an athletic nature, which will lead toward the development of Christian ideals in the youth served. We encourage and promote teamwork, positivity, fun, and healthy competition.
We are committed to providing a CYO program to help our youth realize their full potential. Principles of fair play and sportsmanship must govern every game. All participants should have a healthy respect for their teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials. We encourage patience and tolerance among coaches and parents when developing the athletic skills of young players.
The Board of Directors of OLG CYO will do everything in its power to act in the best interest of its participants and its programs. The Board, along with the Parish Priest, has the final authority to make decisions regarding coaches and player eligibility and rules and regulations.
