Serve: Help Serve Lunch at Skate Church

Skate Church has recently started offering a free meal for homeless and low-income neighbors on Fridays at noon. The need is great and participation is rapidly growing. If you are interested in helping to fix and/or serve the meal, contact Serena Wastman at [email protected] or Ann Harris at 206-512-6392. They are currently serving about 25 people and have found that casseroles or soups make excellent lunches. Volunteers arrive at 10:30 and stay until 2pm. Skate Church is located at West Seattle Baptist, 4157 California Ave SW. The group is also in need of donations to buy laundry vouchers for their guests.
