“Our homeless, homebound and refugee neighbors need our help. They are the people that are struggling with barely enough resources to get by. We can’t sit by just watching so many people fall into poverty. As part of my 8th grade Juan Diego project, I am helping our community help our neighbors, and you can help too! By collecting and donating items ranging from small travel-sized toiletries to socks and underwear, and even basic “starter items” like kitchenware for our refugee neighbors, YOU can make a difference! These items will be used to make homeless and homebound care kits for our Seattle community during the Day of Service on April 6. If you are interested in helping, supply lists will be available in the parish and school offices and on their websites. You can drop of items in the back of church, at the school, or parish office. Thank you for donating! You make a difference!” -JoJo Southwell, 8th grade student
