February 18, 2022How can you lead the way and make a difference in the lives of our most vulnerable sisters and brothers? By urging your members of Congress to respond to their needs and prevent further devastation around the world by providing international assistance to poverty-reducing programs. Congress is poised to pass another continuing resolution to fund the government through March 11. By not passing the 2022 federal budget, Congress risks losing the additional $4 billion proposed for poverty-reducing accounts. We must take new action now to make sure that everyone has the means to stay safe and healthy and thrive. Urge your member of Congress to speak with Congressional leadership to ensure the highest funding levels possible for programs that help prevent and end global hunger and malnutrition.
