June 15, 2022The OLG community has begun a formal sponsorship of an Afghan refugee family through the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia’s Refugee Resettlement Office. We have been matched with a young couple with a 3-year-old girl and a baby on the way! The family, who speak Pashto, is in an apartment in Tukwila and the father is already working! Our St. Vincent de Paul conference is working on getting them furniture and household goods but there are many other needs.
