Advocate: Just Immigration Reform

"The U.S. Senate is debating comprehensive immigration reform (S. 744). Earlier this week [sent 6/13], Archbishop Jose H. Gomez of Los Angeles reiterated the USCCB criteria for humane immigration reform and declared, "Simply put, the status quo is morally unacceptable. This suffering must end."

Or call their Senate offices (Murray: 202-224-2621; Cantwell: 202-224-3441) with the following message:

"As you consider S. 744, I ask that you support amendments that allow more persons to qualify for the path to citizenship and that unify families and oppose amendments that weaken the path to citizenship and increase enforcement measures.""
